Our center objectives and approaches to achieve them are follows:

• To improve the level of knowledge in the field of mental disorders
• To increase the application of research findings in the field of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental disorders
• To improve the quality of research in the field of mental disorders
• To improve the quantity of research in the field of mental disorders
• Train competent and efficient researchers in the field of mental disorders
• To support researchers to produce local knowledge in the field of mental disorders with an emphasis on Islamic values in Iran

Psychosis Research Center has been established to strive to enhance our countrys degree in the production of science and knowledge in the field of psychosis and other major mental disorders. By applying our competent researchers, collaborating with other scientific centers, and attracting internal and external grants, we targeting to play a great role in the efforts in the enrichment of mental disorders information in the country. On the other hand, our endeavors go towards being effective in compiling a dictionary and also in awareness of the characteristics of mental disorders at the levels of basic sciences, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
